Fall at Independence Pass

We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming of China memories to bring you fall pictures. Last weekend, Mike and I drove up Independence Pass to Aspen to enjoy this incredible fall. Here are some of our pics.

This is just past Twin Lakes. Doesn't it look like we dressed matchy matchy?
A rushing stream above Twin Lakes.
We found a path that wound into the aspen forest.
The sky was so incredibly blue.
On top of Indepenence Pass.
Beautiful colors outside of Aspen.
A random barn looking picturesque.

It looks like you are both feeling better and beautiful! I love the shot of Mike on the side of the road, and the aspens are gorgeous. Again, I want your life. Do you want a baby? Mine? Just kidding--but it would be fun to have the freedom to travel and just hang out with the hubby : ) in the mountains, of course. By the way, we are going to be in your neighborhood this weekend, and so (if you are not coughing anymore--per Craig's orders) we would like to see you! and the shop! And Amber, I love your blog--just so you know! I've been bad at commenting (Me, a blog stalker!!?) but I read it all the time, and the little Indian girl was hysterical...and I now want to go to China because of you! Love you lots. AND your depends comment to Sarah was awful (awfully funny).

I wish I was there! What great colors. You really have so much more access without I70 to great places. NV
